Here at Resurgence Recovery Group, we believe that there are many different, but equally valid paths to recovery, happiness, and a successful life. Whether you take the 12-Step path, or a Non-12 Step alternative, we truly believe that there is no such thing as “The Wrong Type of Sobriety”. This structured living program is for anybody who wishes to learn to live a life free of drugs and alcohol. This is not a "fly-by-night" sober living facility. We really do care about each of our clients, and will do whatever we can to help each person succeed, understanding that every person has their own background, personality type, likes and dislikes, and challenges to overcome. But what unites us here is our common goal: through fellowship, we all strive to lift each other up and support one another as we walk this road of recovery together. It is been long proven that being around like-minded people who are all striving to better themselves is a win-win situation for the person who is serious about their recovery.
We encourage our clients to work every day towards improving their situation in recovery and life in general, whether it is in working the 12 Steps, working with a sponsor, eating healthy, working a job, exercising regularly, working towards an educational degree, completing a job training program, volunteering somewhere, or anything of a similar nature. The secret to long-term success is simple: one foot in front of the other, small steps, keep it simple, and one day at a time. This is not a rehab or drug program, but an opportunity to live in an environment that is safe and free from drugs and alcohol. Generally speaking, most clients will have a roommate, will be subjected to drug/alcohol screening. We ask you to be pro-active in your recovery, and to follow the house rules which you will be given a copy of with your admission packet. Clients will find our facilities to be very comfortable, with a family-like atmosphere. Also remember, we are all in this together!
Here at Resurgence Recovery Group, we offer a structured living environment for people who want to abstain from using illegal mind-altering substances and/or alcohol. Resurgence Recovery Group employs a full-time “House Manager” to help ensure adherence to abstinence and other house rules. This House Manager is here to help you, not to give you a hard time or lecture you. Also, we have a weekly House Meeting, where clients will have an opportunity to speak their mind on any house-related issues, their recovery, and the trajectory of their life in general. Clients will be given a simple "house chore" that usually takes 10 minutes or less, and the House Manager will check in with clients regularly to see how your individual recovery process is coming along. Clients will be given a generous amount of freedom here, so long as they are staying sober, following house rules and completing their obligations such as attending the house meeting and completing their chore. This is a very easy place to succeed in recovery, and it is made that way by design.
